Jack de Tar

Teaches at New York Botanical Garden

Jack de Tar is a student within the Nyingma and Kagyu schools of Tibetan Buddhism. He graduated from Brown University in 2013, where he studied Buddhist philosophy and poetry, and has trained with Buddhist meditation masters in Nepal and India. Jack currently lives in New York, but is returning to Nepal this September to continue his studies at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery under the direction of meditation master Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche. Jack applies his skills as a writer for various meditation and health publications to help other practitioners connect with the masters and lineages that hold the wisdom of the Buddha's teaching.
