Anita Jacobson

Teaches at The Institute of Culinary Education

With twenty years at the stove and front of the class, Anita Jacobson is a senior member of the chef/instructors for the Institute of Culinary Education. Ms Jacobson is a Blue Ribbon graduate of the New York Cooking School. As a Certified Culinary Professional (CCP), she took the necessary certification test with the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) on the same day as Julia Child. (No one will tell her who got the better grade). Ms Jacobson created the Cuisinart Cooking School for Bloomingdale’s department store in New York, worked in the famed kitchen of the Bristol Hotel in Paris, and has studied at the China Institute in New York City, and the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. She has made numerous appearances on such television shows as “Cooking with Sara Moulton,” “The Food Network with Bill Boggs,” “Good Day New York”, and “News 12” in Connecticut and Long Island. She has been a featured presenter at EPCOT’s International Food Festival in Florida and is a member of the board of directors of TeenNewsNet.
