ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE SERIOUS ABOUT LEARNING TANGO IN TWO DAYS
For Total Beginners with fast learning capacities, intermediate and pre-Intermediate beginners who wants to LEVEL UP their Tango, and everyone who wants to learn/review fundamentals in two days.
Learn all you can in 8 hours on a weekend.
Learn the fundamentals, basic moves, musicality, organization of the dance, connection, biomechanics, navigation strategies for dancing.
Ideal for absolute beginners, people who need to review fundamentals, or dances from another genre who want to learn Tango quickly.
You will have a lot of practice and individual corrections at the time you are mingling and meeting new people.
There is an half an hour intermission with snacks and soft drinks where we will mingle and know about Argentine Culture
Program:
- Fundamentals: posture, embrace, feet positions, basic musicality
- The Five connections approach.
- Basic elements of Tango.
- Tango Dance philosophy.
- Dance composition strategies.
- Navigation strategies.
- The basics of leading and following and its strategies
- Paso basico as a positional system and dance composition strategy
- International templates: ocho cortado and ocho atras, parada sandwich and resolution
- Basic Styling
- Dance etiquette
- Be creative and improvise
Requirements
- People who like intense and fast pace learning
- No tango experience required
- All genders are welcome to lead or follow
- Some coordination, balance and self awareness, concentration are required.
- Bring comfortable shoes and clothes. Not sure about shoes? Bring a pair of socks or ballet shoes

Your couple will receive a $50 credit toward a private class (floor fee included at the Harlem Location), to be used within 30 days after the ending of the course,

What happens when you finish?
You acquire the knowledge to become a Pre-Intermediate dancer, and you can attend this level of classes at STNYC. You just need to practice A LOT!
