We offer ten weeks of art camp, each with a unique focus. Sessions can be booked individually or bundled at a discounted rate. Artuta’s approach to art education is a combination of structured guidance with an emphasis on student autonomy, encouraging students to freely develop and explore their own creative ideas.

Come fall, these young artists will have the opportunity to showcase their creations at the Brooklyn gallery, Tappeto Volante. Check out last year’s exhibithere!

Students will experiment with everything from basic drawing tools, common office supplies to professional art materials. The first three classes focus on drawing exercises, each emphasizing a specific material.  Then, students will  shift to a conceptual approach, creating site-specific projects that interact with and highlight often-overlooked spaces in the environment. The second day is dedicated to photo collage, where students will use found photography to create surreal imagery.
