What you'll learn in this city tour:
Have you ever wondered how a place got the name Flushing? Or why some people think Ridgewood is in Brooklyn? Which Queens parks are comparable to Central Park? And exactly what did the Astors have to do with Astoria? If you’re curious about such knowledge, here is your crash course in all things Queens -- taught mostly through walking tours.
Our final class will be an Astoria walking tour that begins and ends at Q.E.D., where we'll have a wrap party in the cafe. Join us for this special course and you too can become a king -- or queen -- of Queens.

School Notes:
OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINKS ARE NOT ALLOWED. QED has coffee, tea, soda, beer & wine plus snacks and pre-made wraps and sandwiches available.
Refund Policy
- We require at least 8 business days notice before a class in order to issue a refund less 5% cancellation fee and there are no transfers to future classes allowed.
- Tickets are transferable meaning we will allow anyone to take your place in class, so check around with your friends to see if someone else would like your spot.
In case of bad weather, classes WILL always take place unless the subway system is closed down. If you have issues traveling, please keep this in mind when you purchase your ticket. If the school do cancel for an emergency, we will try to reschedule the class on the same day of the week at the same scheduled time as soon as possible. If you cannot make the rescheduled date, we will refund you the price of your seat.
