Prices remain reasonable in the context of what other blue-chip collectible fine wines cost, especially compared to Grand Cru Burgundy and First Growth Bordeaux. Bruno Giacosa consistently makes awe-inspiring wines of the highest level that can age effortlessly for decades. The Barolos and the Barbarescos from Giacosa are the reference-standard of the region.
This is aways one of the best dinners of the season. Not only will this be a deep dive into the greatest terroirs of Barolo and Barbaresco but a fascinating retrospective of the brilliant Bruno Giacosa.
