"As the Director of Technology at the Building Performance Lab of the CUNY Institute for Urban Systems, my role is to identify new ways to utilize technology in research, training and fieldwork initiatives. I also direct the BPL Energy Data Lab – a project funded by the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services – which performs measurement and verification on NYC municipal facilities and trains student interns from the CUNY campuses in skills related to energy management, including energy analysis and M&V protocols. Further, I am currently managing a number of other projects, around topics that include building automation systems and behavioral change in building operators as a result of technological interventions."
